Thoroughly cleanse and disinfect the wound area and apply appropriate sterile primary dressing.

Hold the bandage with the roll facing upward. Begin wrapping smoothly below the wound, overlapping each turn by one-half to two-thirds of the bandage width.

Tension Control
Apply even, gentle tension, firm enough to keep the dressing securely in place without restricting blood circulation.

Securing & Monitoring
Secure the end with surgical tape or bandage clips. Inspect regularly for signs of fluid strike-through or displacement and change as required.
